
BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - Three people are recovering after a car wreck Thursday afternoon in Bossier City.
According to Bossier City Police, a 73-year-old Benton woman was attempting to turn onto the Shreveport-Barksdale bridge on-ramp from Clyde Fant Parkway when the driver of a Honda Accord smashed the passenger side of the elderly woman's vehicle.
The impact caused the elderly woman's car to flip over.
Police say the woman was pinned inside of the car and the jaws had to be used to rescue the elderly woman.
The driver of the Accord and her 9-year-old daughter were taken to Willis Knighton Bossier with minor injuries. The elderly woman was taken LSU Medical Center with non life threatening injuries.
Police have yet to say whether any citations were given out following the crash.
