Couple dead in murder suicide in Rapides Parish

RAPIDES PARISH, LA (KSLA) - A murder suicide in Rapides Parish left a husband and wife dead Tuesday morning.

It happened in Forest Hill at Becca's Bait and Beer, and the suspected trigger man is the son of the town's police chief.

Investigators say the couple, 26-year-old Rebecca Caroll and 38-year-old James Jimbo Caroll, were in some kind of couple's altercation that ended fatally.

We are told that Rebecca Caroll recently filed for domestic abuse protection against her husband.
