CONWAY, Ark. (AP) - A list of 5 finalists for the job of University of Central Arkansas president has been released by the school.
A search committee was formed when former president Lu Hardin resigned after disclosure of a bonus that the school's board approved for Hardin.
Today, the search committee recommended five finalists to the board at a meeting in Conway.
They are:
Brad Bartel, president of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo.
Dean Bresciani, former vice president for student affairs at Texas A&M University.
Allen Meadors, chancellor of the University of North Carolina at Pembrooke.
Bernie Patterson, provost of Oklahoma City University.
And Aaron Podolefsky, president of the University of Central Missouri.
The board said it plans to meet by teleconference May 14 to decide which of the five finalists to invite back to campus for interviews.
