BPD arrests three for drugs and weapons

BOSSIER CITY, LA (KSLA) - A loud music complaint over the weekend ends with Bossier Police to arresting three men for drugs and weapons.

According to Bossier City Police, they were called to the Northgate Apartments in the 3300 block of Industrial Drive late Sunday night for a loud music complaint.

18-year-old Johnny Martinez, 31-year-old Damian Velasco and 36-year-old Roberto Lagos are now behind bars facing a list of drug charges.

Upon searching the men's apartment, police found nearly 28 grams of cocaine, six grams of marijuana, more than five grams of crystal meth, and three handguns, an AK-47, drug paraphernalia and $4450 in cash, according to police.

The trio faces charges of felony possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine.

They are also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession of firearms in the presence of illegal narcotics.
