Texarkana police search for shooting suspect

TEXARKANA, TX (KSLA) - An investigation continues Thursday into an alleged aggravated assault that happened Wednesday in Texarkana, Texas.

The assault happened before 5 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Melton Street.

According to police, two females had agreed to meet up and fight. Once the altercation started, a white Cadillac with two males inside pulled up to the home and the driver got out and showed a small gun.

Police say the man then randomly fired the gun, hitting another man in the abdominal area.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Xavier Crocker; whereas the gunman has been identified as 19-year-old Reginald Lennon.

The victim, according to police, is currently in stable condition at a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Lennon is allegedly the brother of one of the girls involved in the argument, according to police.
