The storms from yesterday have helped make things pretty humid across the ArkLaTex. With the winds out of the south bringing in more moisture from the Gulf, it's going to stay humid all weekend long. Highs will be in the upper 80s, but it will feel like it's in the 90s.

Our next chance for storms comes at the start of next week. We'll keep those chances in through Wednesday.

The National Weather Service has done surveys on the wind damage from storms near Blanchard, Louisiana and around Sydney Street in the Martin Luther King neighborhood of Shreveport. They determined this damage to be the result of "MicroBurst" winds. This is the result of rain-cooled air accelerating downward. In a storms and spreading out at a destructive speed when it hits the ground.More >>
