KSLA News 12 Shreveport, Louisiana |From the Frontlines with Pat Simon

In December 2008, members of the Louisiana National Guard's 225th Engineering Brigade left the Bayou State to begin a year-long deployment in Iraq. The group is now working with members of the Iraq army to rebuild the country.

KSLA News 12 Anchor Pat Simon has been a part of the Louisiana National Guard for over 20 years. Pat will be in Iraq with the 225th until they return in December. While he's there, we'll get updates on the brigade's activities and other happenings from overseas.
