KCS Holiday Express to make stops in ArkLaTex

KCS Holiday Express travels through Shreveport

ARKLATEX (KSLA) - Starting today, the Kansas City Southern Lines Holiday Express train will make its first stop in the ArkLaTex on Monday.

The train is scheduled to stop at 4 p.m. on Dec. 3 in Shreveport's KCS yard, 4500 N. Lakeshore Drive at Gate 5.

The KCS Holiday Express is a six-car train that brings Santa Claus and his elves throughout the U.S. rail network at scheduled stops.

Guests can tour the train and meet Ole Saint Nick.

Each event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.

After its stop in Shreveport, the train will stop on Dec. 4 in Ashdown, Arkansas at Main Street and U.S. Highway 71. On Dec. 5, the train will stop in DeQueen, AR in the 300 block of E. Stillwell Ave.

Both events in Arkansas will start at 4 p.m.
