NATCHITOCHES, LA (KSLA) - The Christmas season couldn’t officially begin without the Natchitoches Christmas Festival. It’s an exciting time for the city and brings people from across the country to check it out.
“It’s our first time in Natchitoches and it sure won’t be our last,” Christie Dutton says. “The parade and fireworks were unbelievable.”
During the daytime people got to see an 80-float parade that included superheroes and Santa Claus. Several families say this festival helps them create life long memories.
“It’s a lot of things the kids enjoyed, and they had a lot of fun,” Helen Crawford says. “Just an event you enjoy and then come down to the Riverbank and have a lot of fun.”
At night thousands of people watched the annual fireworks show. A dazzling display of fireworks that are in tune with Christmas music.
