SPD investigating 2 shootings

SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Shreveport police are searching for information on two shootings that took place only hours apart.

The first shooting took place just before 3:30 p.m. on Monday in the 700 block of Lincoln Drive, according to SPD's report on this incident. That's in North Highland.

The victim told police he was walking when he heard gunshots. Eventually, he noticed he was shot in the leg.

His injuries were considered non-life-threatening.

The second shooting took place just after 10:30 p.m. on Karen Street.

Officers were called to Willis-Knighton South, where a man was suffering with a gunshot wound.

The victim said he was in a yard, and felt something strike him. His girlfriend was able to take him to the hospital.

Both of these shootings have no suspect information or vehicle descriptions.

Early Monday morning, a man was injured while walking in the Caddo Heights neighborhood.
