SHREVEPORT, LA (KSLA) - Depending on where you drive, travel will be slower than usual on parts of Interstate 20 throughout the ArkLaTex this morning and into Monday morning.
According to Shreveport DOTD, I-20 East is reduced to one lane at the Red River Bridge until Monday morning. We’re told crews are performing road work. Your alternate route is to take I-220 East.
Also in Bossier City, I-20 West is reduced to two lanes at Old Minden Road until Monday morning according to DOTD. Your alternate route is I-220 West.
There is a bit of good news. If you travel from east Texas into the Shreveport-Bossier area, crews have reopened I-20 East at the Greenwood exit. Overnight, crews closed the interstate in order to clean mud from the road due to construction.
