Police say 54-year-old Timmy Clark reportedly heard someone going through a pickup outside his home when he went outside to confront two men.

That’s when officers say gunfire was exchanged and Clark was shot at least once in the chest.

Clark was taken to a Shreveport hospital for treatment of what then was considered life-threatening wounds.

His condition has since been upgraded from serious to good.

Officers have not released any more suspect details at this time.

Authorities urge anyone with any information about the shooting to contact Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers by calling (318) 673-7373, visiting the organization’s website, lockemup.org, or using the P3Tips app.
