Good morning! Rain moved in overnight and quicker than anticipated. It looks like there may be some showers around the rest of the morning, but then we will clear out this afternoon. Cloudy skies will dominate the forecast, but a few peaks of sunshine are possible. Highs today in the low 70s across the ArkLaTex. Lows will be chilly tonight in the upper 40s, so you may want to keep a jacket handy this evening and into tomorrow morning.
Behind the cold front that brought rain overnight, is much cooler air. Highs tomorrow only in the mid 60s here in Shreveport, other areas could be in the low 60s. There will be plenty of sunshine, so you can put the rain gear away. It will be a great day to get outside, get some yard work done or enjoy dinner on the porch. Lows tomorrow night will tumble into the low 40s.
Temperatures look to stay in the 60s the entire week. Monday with have mostly cloudy conditions with highs in the low 60s. Upper 60s for Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds.
Overcast conditions for Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 60. Another weather maker could be in the forecast towards the middle of the week, but models are indicating that a lot of the rain will stay south of us. Right now, rain chances have been bumped down to a 30% both days. We will continue to monitor this and give you the latest as we know it.
Have a great day!
