A cold and wet start to Wednesday, but warmer weather is on the way.

Wednesday started with cloudy skies, light NE winds and lows either side of 50. Rain was scattered across much of the Ark-La-Tex. The day ahead will find scattered light rain or heavy drizzle with highs in the 50s to near 60. Thursday will find lows in the low 50s and highs in the low 60s with an outside chance of rain. Rain may increase a bit Friday as another cold front tries to make a move on the Ark-La-Tex with lows in the low to mid 50s and highs in the 60s.

Rain will be likely Saturday with lows in the 50s and highs in the 60s to near 70, the warmest day of the next 7. Rain tapers off Sunday with lows near 50 and highs in the low to mid 60s. Monday will see an increase in rain with lows in the low to mid 40s (the coldest of the season so far) and highs in the low to mid 60s. Tuesday will find isolated rain with lows in the 40s to near 50 and highs in the mid to upper 60s. Wednesday will find an increase in rain with lows near 50 and highs in the low to mid 60s.
