HARRISON COUNTY, TEXAS (KSLA) - The Texas Department of Public Safety has named the woman killed in a crash on Tuesday afternoon.
Brandi Mashai Kirkwood, 35, of Tatum was killed when her Jeep Liberty hydroplaned and traveled into southbound traffic, according to TDPS.
The Jeep was traveling at an unsafe speed when it hydroplaned into a south lane of traffic on SH-43. That’s nine miles south of Marshall in Harrison County.
Kirkwood’s SUV was struck by a tractor-trailer.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor-trailer was treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
