Coach Eddie G. Robinson’s legacy continues to stand the test of time. The Mansfield Mafia was one of the best secondaries to ever play for coach Rob and they all came from Mansfield, Louisiana.

Albert Lewis went on to play for the Kansas City Chiefs. Glen “The Hitman” Hall and Donald Mayweather are now coaches in the area.

Coach Eddie G. Robinson loved recruiting in the Mansfield area and Desoto was known as DBHigh at one point.
